MEET THE ORIGINAL CAST

In this comedic farce Mike Aldridge is retiring as Kansas City’s most beloved radio host who is holding a small cocktail party among family and close friends at his home to kick off his final week of broadcasting. Guests include his New Yorker son Mike Jr. who constantly bickers with his sister Dorothy Cox and her touchy, feely husband Allen. Mike’s agent Bea Greenberg, who is bitter that her cash cow client is calling it quits will be attending along with her husband Seth. Mike’s quirky oddball newsman Marty Jacobs crashes the party causing mayhem. The womanizing Uncle Art, Mike’s younger brother will be on hand to catch a few drinks. The final guest is Mike Junior's high school sweetheart Nicole Montrose, who causes quite a stir in the festivities. But all may not be as it seems when Uncle Art spills the beans about seeing a wedding announcement in the Kansas City Star about the upcoming nuptials of Mike Aldridge and Nicole Montrose. Michael the younger believes his father is trying to get him to walk down the aisle with Nikki but when the whole group is made aware of the announcement it is Mike Sr. who reveals that Mikey is not the only Mike Aldridge in the house!
